Judging Philosophy

My judging philosophy is pretty simple and straightforward. I won’t bring my personal preferences into the judging room. I will judge the quilt in front of me and not “remake” the quilt. I will tell the quilter what they did right. I will gently tell the quilter what to improve on for the next project. As a judge, I want to encourage quilters to keep on quilting and keep on getting better at their craft.
