I started sewing when I was a small child and have been quilting since about 1982. After taking that first quilting class, I just couldn’t stop taking more and more classes and making more and more quilts and quilt tops. I really can’t pick a favorite quilt technique or quilting specialty because I love them all! I am an NACQJ Certified Quilt Judge who has judged local, regional, and international quilt shows. I also teach and lecture on various quilting topics. Not content to stay idle or make my own Covid Quilt during the early days of the pandemic, I made over 3,000 face masks for friends, family, and for Operation Bandana New Mexico. Now I have a giant pile of scraps for my next quilting project.
